Will wigs break your hair off? How to keep your edges from thinning and hair from breaking off!

The question I get a lot is "will wigs break my hair off?"

No. Not if you are taking the proper steps to care for your hair. Now I'm not saying that you need an intense routine, but do the bare minimum.

When wearing wigs, you need to have your hair prepped prior to the braid-down. That's why I offer a full service from start to finish in a standard wig install. Your hair needs to be cleansed thoroughly, treated, moisturized, and possibly trimmed. The key to healthy hair is a healthy scalp. Do not leave your braids up longer than 2 months and always protect your edges. Moisturize your hair every 3 days

Wigs are not hard at all, in fact, it was how I grew my hair. Covering my strands and giving them a break was an easy way for me to get the results I desired while saving time and money.
